Summer Internship 2027

The role

Metheus is an international expansion advisory and execution partner for mid-market companies entering new countries. We help clients decide where to go, enter with confidence, accelerate what works and recover when plans break. Our summer interns join live client work and Metheus's own growth efforts, take ownership of real deliverables and learn to structure unclear problems from several perspectives.

You will join one of three tracks:

• Consulting: client projects on market choice, market entry and expansion
• Growth Marketing: digital visibility, content and performance analysis
• New Business Development: market mapping, opportunity identification and early-stage deal development

What you'll do

All interns

• Own defined parts of a project or initiative, from scoping to delivery
• Gather information from several sources and turn it into clear insights
• Structure unclear problems by setting sub-goals, priorities and a plan to solve them
• Present your findings to the team and to client stakeholders
• Build trust-based relationships with clients and prospects to understand what they need

Consulting track

• Work on international expansion cases for mid-market companies and startups
• Support market entry and expansion analyses: market sizing, competitor landscape and entry options
• Use SaaS tools to prototype and deliver solutions quickly
• Prepare client-ready analyses, slides and recommendations

Growth Marketing track

• Support growth strategy across LinkedIn, the website, newsletters and reports
• Plan, write and optimise insight articles, case studies, success stories and thought leadership
• Run market, competitor and keyword research, and support SEO
• Track and analyse traffic, engagement, conversion and campaign results
• Help design A/B tests for messaging, positioning and content formats

New Business Development track

• Research and map target industries, companies and decision-makers
• Help build client pipelines, account lists and opportunity trackers
• Prepare outreach emails, LinkedIn messages and pitch summaries
• Support proposals and pitch decks with research, benchmarks and value propositions
• Analyse market trends and investment themes relevant to Metheus's focus areas

What you'll learn

• How a boutique consultancy scopes, delivers and sells international expansion work
• Structured problem solving on real business problems
• Hands-on use of the research, analytics, marketing and CRM tools the team uses every day, such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, Ahrefs and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• Writing and presenting for client stakeholders, with regular feedback
• A portfolio of delivered work to take into your next role

What we're looking for

• Current undergraduate or graduate students in any discipline
• Advanced English in reading, writing and speaking; other languages are a plus
• Strong communication skills and confidence building conversations through networking
• A fast learner of new concepts and SaaS tools
• Collaborative, proactive and solutions-oriented, with strong attention to detail

For Consulting, we look for structured, analytical thinking and solid Google Workspace skills. For Growth Marketing, an interest in social media, motivation to create written and visual content, and good Canva skills. For New Business Development, strong research skills, confident writing for outreach and the discipline to keep pipelines up to date.

Prior experience in consulting, marketing, sales or analytics, familiarity with tools such as HubSpot or Google Analytics, and an interest in AI and automation are a plus.

How the summer works

• Week 1, onboarding: the firm, our tools, brand guidelines and your track
• Weeks 2 to 3, ramp-up: shadow and support an active project, campaign or pipeline
• Weeks 4 to 8, ownership: own defined deliverables with regular check-ins with your lead
• Final week: present your work and insights to the team

Practical details

• Fully remote, working with our teams in London, Chicago and Istanbul
• Summer 2027. Exact dates and length are agreed with successful candidates.
