Business Development Intern
A remote internship for commercially minded students and graduates who want to learn how a consultancy finds, qualifies and wins international expansion clients.
The role
Metheus works with B2B technology companies, scale-ups, investors and consumer brands that are deciding where to grow next. As a Business Development Intern you will help the team find the right companies to talk to, understand what they need and prepare the conversations that turn into projects.
What you'll do
- Research target companies and sectors, and build qualified prospect lists by market and industry
- Map decision-makers and keep account and contact records accurate and up to date
- Draft personalised outreach and follow-ups for the team to review and send
- Prepare briefing notes and short company profiles before calls and meetings
- Support proposals, pitch materials and partnership communications
- Help track pipeline activity and report on what is and isn't working
What you'll learn
- How a consultancy builds a pipeline across several international markets
- How to qualify an opportunity and connect a client's problem to the right offering
- B2B research, writing and presentation skills, with regular feedback from the team
- How to work in a multinational, fully remote team spanning London, Chicago and Istanbul
What we're looking for
- Current students or recent graduates in business, economics, international relations or a related field
- Strong research skills and clear, confident written English; other languages are a plus
- Interest in sales, strategy and how companies grow across borders
- Organised and reliable, with the discipline to manage your own time while working remotely

- Fully remote, with flexible working hours
